At Shanghai Disney Resort I learned that an image isn’t finished until it tells a story. My own series start from that idea: each piece begins as a small story — an object, a moment, a question — and the drawing is how I tell it. All square, all small, all meant to be read.

What If

One object, two states. Each piece starts with a question about something most people walk past.

If an umbrella had one adventure, where would it go?

If nobody comes, does the swing still swing?

If a postbox could remember, what would it remember?

If a cup could wait, what is it waiting for?

It lit one night.

It guards speed, and has never run.

If a mirror wanted to see itself, what would it do?

Far away is closer than you think.
